Weekend Reading // 06

Ups and downs. That's part of life, right? This week was a roller coaster to say the least, but I feel like it was worth it because I'm feeling pretty pumped to get shit done right now to prep for the new year. I have a busy week coming up! A short week at work because of Thanksgiving and then one of my very best friends is getting married on Saturday. I've spent some of the day making lists and getting ideas for just about everything under the sun, especially for things for my 26x26 list. I'm ready to spend the next few day working on busting out things I have written down, filling up my new planner from Sugar Paper with what I have planned for 2015, and starting to make some much needed changes in my life.

  • Rowan Made is finally live and Breanna did such a gorgeous job with putting it together. I've loved all the sneak peeks she has posted since she started Rowan Made and everything from the design to the photos are stunning in their simplicity.
  • I just whipped out a bottle of India Ink yesterday that I have left over from college and I'm curious to see what I can do with hand lettering, specifically brush lettering. I adore designs from Jasmine Dowling and first saw them featured long ago in the Do What You Love series on A Pair & A Spare. The design in the photo above is one of hers that I absolutely adore (I've also seen it as a gold foil print). Here's a behind-the-scenes look on how she does her typography.
  • Last, but not least, I just really need this mug from Urban Outfitters. It'll go nicely with my gold monogram Anthro mug, right? ;)
